A Fitz Classifier Mill System uses air to carry the product through the milling & classifying process. The product is fed from a silo or gravity hopper, through a rotary airlock (rotary valve) to a product ejector. Product is then blown into the mill chamber from the ejector. The classifying used to control the particle size, is done in the mill chamber. From the mill chamber, the fine powder is carried out by the air leaving the mill. The air and product is separated, primarily in a cyclone and secondary in a filter unit, to ensure recovery of all milled product.
